Junior Parent Night and PSAT Results

January 17, 2017 at 6:30pm in the FVHS Cafeteria

Please join Kaplan Test Prep and Marilyn Wong for an informative hour discussing the junior timeline and how to interpret your students PSAT results.

Sophomore Parent Night

Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30pm in the FVHS-Cafeteria 

Sophomore parents and students can come meet Michaela Wakeman, College and Career Specialist and Guidance Specialist Lynn McCall as they preview ROP, high school graduation requirements, A-G college requirements and the SAT/ACT Testing timeline.

Community College Night for Senior Parents:

Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:30pm in the FVHS-Cafeteria 

Come listen to the experts from Golden West College, Irvine Valley College and Orange Coast College. Find out how to apply, get financial aid and register for classes.

Goldenwest College Preview Day for Seniors: 

Thursday, February 23rd from 8:30 -11:30am

Sign Up and get a Permission Slip on Tuesday, Feb. 14th in the Career Center

ALL seniors MUST have a signed Permission Slip even if they are 18yrs old.

ALL seniors MUST go to and from the event on the bus or they will be marked truant.

Orange Coast College Senior Day:

Thursday, March 16th from 9:00 -12:15

Sign Up and get a Permission Slip on Monday, March 6th in the Career Center

Freshman Priority Assessment for Community Colleges:

Any senior attending a Community College (OCC/GWC/IVC) must take a Math and English Placement Test. 

The test will be offered at FVHS in the Cafeteria at 1:30pm on the following dates:

Wednesday, March 29

Tuesday, April 4

Tuesday, April 11

Wednesday April 12

Students must reserve a spot for these dates in the Career Center. Limited availability.

IF you can not test at FVHS go the school you will be attending and test in their Assessment Center.
